GE Voluson E8
A corrective work order was placed on this ultrasound machine. The machine was not allowing the images to be sent to DICOM. We were able to determine that there was not a network issue by using ping and verifying that the ultrasound machine was seen on the GE system and the PACS system. We made a back up disc off another Voluson E8 ultrasound and ran it on the defective one. The problem still existed. After consulting another tech on the issue, it was noticed that one of the settings deep within the system had been changed. When the setting was corrected, the ultrasound unit was able to transfer to DICOM.

Datex Ohmeda S/5 Aespire
This anesthesia was sent to the shop because it had a broken pressure gauge and a broken bag arm. I replaced the pressure gauge and replaced the lower assembly of the bag arm. I completed an electrical safety inspection and an operation verification procedure. It was found that the battery in the unit was in working condition but needs to be replaced based on the time it has been in the unit. The battery was ordered and will be replaced upon arrival.

VersaPulse PowerSuite Holmium 60 W
I worked with the service technician on doing a PM on this laser. The PM consisted of draining the water from the tank, refilling the tank, changing 2 filters, verifying that there was no debris on the lenses of the laser and verifying that there were no leaks. I completed an electrical safety inspection and trimmed the AC wires and reconnected the AC power plug. The AC wires were left too long by the factory and could have caused a potential problem later on. I watched the technician complete an operation verification procedure.
