Storz Xenon 300
A work order was generated stating that this light source was not providing sufficient light. We used a Firefly endoscope light tester to test the light output. The light is supposed to produce at minimum 500 lumen. When tested, the source generated 843 lumen. The light bulb was replaced a week ago and only had 11 hours of usage. It was determined that the problem did not lie with the light source, but most likely with the light cord that was used. The device was returned to service.

OSI PROfx Orthopedic Surgical Table
This surgical table is used for anterior hip replacement. It was determined that the power supply was bad. Once the power supply was installed it was found that the motor control board also needed to be replaced. After replacing the motor control board some functions of the bed were restored but it still was not completely operational. After spending nearly an hour on the phone with tech support and testing various voltage test points, it was determined that the break motor control board was also in need to be replaced. Finally, after replacing that board, the table was fully functional. I was unable to be on this work order for the entire duration but I was present for the replacement of the motor control board and the troubleshooting with tech support.

Case 8000
This is the Case 8000. It is used for performing stress tests. A work order was entered stating that the printer was not working. There is not an external printer connected to this machine. There is an internal printer on the cart. To fix the problem, we reloaded the profiles and powered the device down. When the system was rebooted, we verified that everything was operational by using a test demo patient. The system was operational after the reboot.
