GE V100 Dinamap Vital Signs Monitor
A work order was put in stating that this vital signs monitor would not take blood pressures. We hooked the unit up to a patient simulator and checked the blood pressure at various different settings. The blood pressure seemed to be functioning properly. We also hooked up a SpO2 analyzer and found no issues. We checked the blood pressure with both cuffs and still found no problems. Finally we checked the printer on the unit and found that when the print button was pressed the unit would not print and an alarm would sound. We opened the paper door and found that the paper was not loaded properly. After fixing the paper, the unit was returned to service.
