Maquet Servo i
The issue with this ventilator is that it was failing the internal leakage test during the pre-use test. We verified the problem with multiple expiratory cassettes. This also eliminated the expiratory cassette as the problem. The next step was to replace some of the pieces internally. We inserted a new inspiratory pipe and connector muff and ran the pre-use test again. The vent passed the internal leakage test. After making a few different exchanges we were able to determine that the inspiratory pipe was the problem.

Bair Hugger 750
This Bair Hugger 750 was displaying a fault code of 008. The user manual indicated that the device is experiencing low wattage heat failure. I called the manufacturer to get an exact diagnosis and was told that either the circuit board or the heating element had gone bad. To diagnose which one it was, I had to check for an open at the J4 connector. After completing troubleshooting, I was able to determine that the problem was with the circuit board. I called and had a circuit board shipped. There was one in stock in the shop and I replaced it. I completed an electrical safety inspection and returned the device to service.
